A fully comprehensive eye examination will take about an hour and consists of a series of tests to evaluate your vision and eye health. Regular eye exams help detect eye problems at their earliest stage when they are most treatable.

After fitting the frames correctly to your face, we take precise measurements of your eyes and the frame using the latest 3D computerized measuring system (Visioffice).

Another option that many people don’t even consider is contact lenses. Not having to wear glasses but having excellent near and distant vision is very appealing.

Gradual central vision loss may occur with dry macular degeneration but usually is not nearly as severe as wet AMD symptoms. However, dry AMD through a period of years slowly can progress to late-stage geographic atrophy (GA) — gradual degradation of retinal cells that also can cause severe vision loss.

Dry eyes treatment helps reduce or eliminate the redness, stinging and sticky eyelids caused by a lack of lubrication and moisture on the surface of the eye.

Low vision is a term for conditions that result in reduced sight and cannot entirely be corrected with eyeglasses, contact lenses, medicines or surgery.

You might be surprised at how many tests eye doctors use to diagnose glaucoma. A proper diagnosis requires careful evaluation of many aspects of your eye’s health – from eye pressure to cornea thickness to the health of your optic nerve.

The Optomap is an imaging device that provides a wide-angle view of the back of your eye (retina). In most cases, this is a good alternative to being dilated.
