I wouldn't be able to provide you with excellent vision care without my dedicated and talented staff. By way of introduction, you will find a picture and a little about each of them below.

I was born in Missouri, raised in Illinois, and returned to St Louis to earn a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at Washington University. Deciding that Chemical Engineering was not really my passion and that I should work in a field that was, I needed to make a change. I had always been fascinated by visits to my Grandpa, an optometrist, as a child. Thinking about this and the amazing complexity of the human eye, I realized that this could easily become a "passion" and that more than anything I wanted to do something which directly helped people. I enrolled at the University of Missouri - St. Louis and earned a Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating at the top of my class. After completing a residency with the Veterans Administration in Lexington, Kentucky I returned to St. Louis where I taught for a time at UMSL and commuted to Columbia to work with Dr. Dellande. Dr. Dellande had a thriving practice in Columbia and I would later become his partner and later still purchase the practice when he retired. In 1990 I moved to Columbia to increase my time with Dr. Dellande and to teach at the Mason Eye Institute. Since 1993 I have concentrated on private practice, where I strive to build a team of great staff and provide the best eye care possible. My wife Gail and I reside in Columbia and are proud "parents" to two miniature schnauzers, Bailey and Molly. I love Celtic music - my wife is not so fond of the bagpipes! - hiking and travel.

Dr. Rich joined the office on a part-time basis 4 years ago. He was born and raised in Warrensburg MO. He attended optometry school at Southern College in Memphis TN and graduated in 2012. In his spare time, he loves snowboarding, and he shares his home with his boxer Bella-Louise.

Gail has lived in Columbia for 31 years. She moved here to take a job out of college and was in the Oncology field for 25 years. She and Dr. Kramer have been married for 22 years. She joined him at Kramer Family Eyecare in 2012 to manage the practice. In her spare time, she enjoys working in the yard and hiking. She and Dr. Kramer have a schnauzer, Molly.

She was born and raised in Mid Mo has been with us since 2014 except for the short time she left to pursue a nursing degree. Thankfully, she decided that her love of Optometry was greater than her desire to pursue nursing. She has 2 dogs. Her hobbies include growing house plants, cooking and talking about glasses. She does not like chocolate.

She is originally from St. Louis but has lived in Columbia for 17 years. She and her husband have been married for 21 years and they have 4 children. When she isn’t running the kids to all their activities, she enjoys organizing, garage sailing, and game nights with family and friends. She loves coffee from Dunkin Donuts, her favorite color is teal and favorite candy is raisinettes.

Born and raised in Alabama, Megan is the newest addition to our team! She has a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and has played soccer since she was able to walk. Megan enjoys watching Mizzou basketball and spending time with her cats, Handsome Man and Tater Tot. Being from the South, food is one of her greatest loves in life, especially sugar.
